Pockclient is a document collection platform designed for bookkeepers and accountants. We facilitate the collection of financial documents from your clients through automated reminders and a secure upload portal. We do not provide bookkeeping, accounting, or financial advisory services.
3. Account Registration
To use Pockclient, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Use of the Service
You agree to use Pockclient only for lawful purposes. You may not:
- Use the service to collect documents for illegal activities
- Upload malicious software or viruses
- Attempt to breach our security measures
- Harass or abuse your clients through our platform
- Resell or redistribute access to the platform
- Scrape or automate access to our systems beyond normal use
5. Data and Content
You retain ownership of all data you upload or collect through Pockclient. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process and store this data solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.
Individual files may not exceed 10MB, and accounts are subject to reasonable storage limits under our fair use policy.
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you have the right to collect documents from your clients
- Complying with all applicable data protection laws
- Obtaining necessary consents from your clients
- The accuracy and legality of all content you upload
6. Subscription and Payments
Some features of Pockclient require a paid subscription. By subscribing:
- You agree to pay all fees associated with your subscription plan
- Subscription fees are billed in advance and non-refundable
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
7. Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or legality of documents collected through our platform
- We are not responsible for any financial losses, missed deadlines, or compliance issues resulting from the use (or non-use) of our service
- We are not responsible for any disputes between you and your clients
- We are not responsible for service interruptions due to factors beyond our reasonable control
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
You acknowledge that document collection is only one part of your bookkeeping process, and you remain fully responsible for your professional obligations to your clients.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Pockclient is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pockclient and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Pockclient at any time for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Pockclient operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
